This garment is NOT a special fire protection garment. Rather, this garment was specially developed for workers in industry to protect them from the consequences of the above-mentioned accidents.efahreWhen using arc-fault protective clothing in accordance with EN 61482-1-2, it is essential to note that this protective clothing is not electrically insulating protective clothing, for example in accordance with EN 50286:1999 "Electrically insulating protective clothing for low-voltage work". Full personal protection also requires additional suitable protective equipment such as helmets/visors and protective gloves. Prior to use in Zone 0 hazardous areas and in the presence of very explosive gases/vapours of explosion group HC, a special application-specific risk analysis must be carried out.
