When developing our new X-treme Vectran cut protection trousers, we set out to create a high-performance product for professional use. Features such as robustness, comfort through freedom of movement and breathability were at the forefront. For the first time, we are combining two newly regional innovations. With our cut protection 5x5 green protection, produced sustainably and environmentally friendly in Germany according to the Bluesign label and 100% recyclable, we have an enormously vapor-open structure in the cut protection for even faster heat dissipation and enormous air permeability. With only 5 layers we achieve the same chain stop time as many pants with 6-7 layers of cut protection.
Because we know how important the stability of the outer material is, our X-treme Vectran has incorporated a fabric with Vectran on the complete front of the leg.
This second innovation is characterized by enormous tear resistance at lowest weight and is extremely abrasion resistant in addition highly temperature resistant. Vectran is a synthetically produced high-tech fiber with a natural model. Like spider silk, Vectran is a liquid crystalline polymer. By using elastic stretch materials and the athletic cut, we create real freedom of movement. Enormously important for heat dissipation is also that water vapor can easily escape from the inside to the outside, here we rely on a high-quality membrane that also ensures good moisture protection.
With our proven "Air" ventilation system, we extract the heat where it is generated. In addition, we create circulation through ventilation grids on the waistband and ensure a comfortable temperature in the pants. Removable gaiters keep ticks and in bad weather snow and rain outside. The simple yet elegant design does without many seams and thus has few points of attack
