Information:
LC ( Lashing capacity) is the maximum force that a lashing device must withstand in direct. It is given in daN. 1 daN equals 0,98 kg.
STF ( Standard Tension Force) is the actual tensioning force of the lashing strap after the ratchet has been tightened to 50 daN ( Standard Manual Force - SHF ).
Discard maturity of lashing means:
Lashings shall be inspected for obvious defects before use.If defects are found that affect safety, the lashings shall no longer be used.
- Cuts of more than 10% at the selvedge.
- Excessive wear (e.g. yarn breaks)
- Deformations due to heat
- Damage due to contact with aggressive media
