Microgard Fr is a flame retardant material designed for use over flame retardant clothing - such as Nomex or Pyrovatex - and provides protection against particles and spray without reducing employee protection in the event of deflagration. Must be worn over flame retardant protective clothing such as Nomex or Pyrovatex and never directly on the skin.
Microgard Fr does not reduce employee protection in flash situations. Microgard Fr protects against Type 6 liquid chemicals and Type 5 particles, and MICROGARD® FR gives its wearer a reassuring feeling when working in potentially explosive/fire hazardous areas, as it has been shown to reduce the risk of burn injury when used over flame retardant clothing. Can be used in areas with potential flash flamesefahr as overgarments for flame retardant clothing (EN ISO 14116 Index 2 or higher) where protection against spray mist or particles is required.
