Microgard 2300 Comfort has been developed in collaboration with the composite and glass fibre processing industry to provide the best possible protection and minimise the risk of heat stress. The Microgard2300 material is used for critical areas on the front of the overalls (including upper body, arms, legs and head). This provides an excellent barrier against resins, fibres and other hazards in the manufacture of composites. The structure of the material ensures that there is no risk of delamination if the substrate comes into contact with a sticky surface. Microgard 2300 Comfort material consists of a polyethylene (PE) coating on a two-component carrier fleece. This combination provides an excellent barrier against many harmful chemicals, while the material is lightweight, robust and durable.
