To counteract this, many young people are learning about everyday life in youth fire departments. Although they practise handling the hose, they do not go through fire. Class S3 safety shoes are therefore perfectly adequate. This is where the jo-FLO Mid ESD S3 model from JORI comes into play. This ESD-compatible safety boot is ergonomically designed and comes in striking colors, the black upper made of cowhide is combined with blue, hydrophobic textile material, the laces and seams are orange and the slip-resistant PU/PU sole (SR-certified) is also made in bright blue. The decorative flame motif on the side of the boot indicates from a distance that this boot was developed for the fire department - however, it should be noted once again that this does not make the boot fireproof. The steel toe cap and the steel penetration protection ensure that firefighting enthusiasts are perfectly equipped for robust operations - after all, you never know if a heavy object will fall on your foot or if there will be broken glass on the floor. If you often have to work on your knees, the PU overcap provides valuable services, as it prevents premature abrasion of the upper material on the toe of the boot. The ladder grip on the outsole is an absolute advantage for use by firefighters. The high heel and the transverse tread grooves in the hollow space between the heel and midfoot enable a firm footing on ladders, so that you are less exposed to the risk of slipping even when working at height.
