Rescue workers and paramedics come into contact with blood and bodily fluids during emergency operations. Viruses and bacteria can occur there. More effective protection than before is required. The MATTHEW Pro BOA® GTX Mid ESD S3 CI Type 3 has exactly that, namely the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® membrane. It is waterproof, breathable and successfully repels pathogens that can be transmitted through blood and other bodily fluids. As the ground is usually contaminated during such operations, this shoe has a PU/PU sole that offers excellent slip resistance. This ensures safe walking without slipping, so that you can take better care of any casualties. Thanks to the steel toe cap and textile penetration protection, your feet are perfectly protected against all kinds of hazards. The upper material made of hydrophobized microfibre and hydrophobized CORDURA® is protected from premature wear of the toe by a TPU cap and the BOA® Fit System ensures that the ESD-compatible shoe is put on in a flash and fits securely.
The shoe is available in sizes 36 - 48 and, thanks to a multi-width system, each size is available in three different fits: Type 1 for strong feet, Type 2 for normal feet and Type 3 for narrow feet.
