Rescue workers are exposed to a wide variety of risks during operations. They regularly come into contact with blood and bodily fluids. What if viruses and bacteria are present? The MATTHEW Pro BOA® GTX Mid ESD S3S CI Type 1 has the answer: GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® membrane. This not only makes this ESD-compatible safety shoe waterproof, but also keeps pathogens out. Because the floor is often contaminated in such emergency situations, this shoe has a PU/PU sole that offers excellent slip resistance. This prevents slipping, so you don't have to pay meticulous attention to every step and can take better care of injured people. Thanks to the steel toe cap and textile penetration protection, your feet are perfectly protected anyway. The upper material made of hydrophobized microfibre and hydrophobized CORDURA® is protected from premature abrasion at the toe by a TPU cap and the closure with BOA® Fit System allows the shoe to be put on and taken off in a flash.
The shoe is available in sizes 36 - 48 and thanks to a multi-width system, each size is available in three different fits: Type 1 for strong feet, Type 2 for normal feet and Type 3 for narrow feet.
