A firefighter boot that can take a beating - CRAIG GTX F2A from Elten. The boot is equipped with a combination of lacing and zipper. This optimally adapts to the foot and thus increases the stability. Fireproof cowhide as upper material as well as seams made of heat-resistant Nomex® thread make it safe from flames and heat. To protect the feet even at low temperatures, the shoe has a cold insulation (CI). Thanks to Gore-Tex in the inner lining, the foot remains dry, even after a long firefighting operation. In addition, it has highly cut-resistant fibres that provide protection at a chainsaw speed of up to 24 m/s. The shoe can also protect the chain through the chainsaw. The shoe can also slow down the chain by absorbing kinetic energy. Standard features include a protective toe cap and a steel midsole. The coarse and SRC certifiedGUMMI/PU POWERGRIP sole provides particularly good grip on slippery floors. With the help of a special Gore-Tex stretch laminate, which is integrated into the shoe tongue and a soft ankle padding, the wearing comfort is improved. In addition, this stretch area helps the safety boot to be put on and taken off quickly, just like the removal aid on the back of the shaft.
