The revolutionary tube scarf protects against pollutants in the air you breathe. Applicable for adults, runners, cyclists and athletes in general. The tube scarf does not replace a respiratory protection mask according to EN149. The PRO FIT multifunctional hose scarf consists of a washable outer cover made of 100 % cotton as well as a filter insert inside. The hose scarf is worn over the mouth and nose and filters pollutants from the ambient air before inhalation. The full-surface filter insert made of polypropylene filters up to 99.7% of pollutants(based on DIN EN 149). This corresponds to the requirements of filter class FFP3. (fine dust > PM 0.6, bacteria > PM 0.6, pollen & coarse dust, mould spores). Depending on the duration of use and frequency, the filter should be changed at regular intervals. As an indication, when breathing resistance increases and exhalation and inhalation become more difficult, the filter should be changed. The hose scarf also protects allergy sufferers from fine dust, pollen and bacteria when the filter is in place. Secure fit due to anti-slip function as well as hidden nose clip: The grip coating printed on the inside of the scarf in the area of the nose prevents slipping and ensures a high level of wearing comfort, even when worn for longer periods in motion. The tightness as well as the wearing comfort is supported by the integrated nose clip. Depending on the size and shape of the nose, the nose clip can be flexibly and ergonomically adjusted. Stepless size adjustment: The built-in drawstring with safety stopper on the back of the scarf allows for stepless size adjustment. The hook closure at the bottom of the tube scarf stows the rest of the fabric and makes it easy to tuck the scarf into the neckline of the garment. Care: Washable up to 40° C, tumble dry. Pull into shape after washing. Wash inside out and iron. Remove the filter insert before washing. Especially in the current situation surrounding Corona, the tube scarf should be washed regularly and fitted with a new filter insert. Between washes, the scarf can be ironed dry without steam at level 1 (80-100°C) with the filter insert inserted.
