Tector Big Bags & Load securing

All Big Bags that have been subjected to a load test are subject to DIN EN ISO 21898, and according to the standard the Big Bags must be permanently marked:

Nominal load ( SWL = Safe Working Load) The maximum permissible load of the Big Bag ( in kg). Usually 1,000 kg, but also 1,250 kg or 1,500 kg, depending on the application.

The nominal load of the big bag depends on many factors, such as the quality of the material, the workmanship of the seams and the thickness of the fabric used.

The safety factor prescribed in the standard is 5:1 - Further details: Manufacturer, article description, standard, certificate number, test centre, date of manufacture, pictograms.
